Business Models Inc. is nominated for a Good Design Award in the Design Strategy Category for its second consecutive year, winning the inaugural Design Pioneer Award last year.

Australia’s annual Good Design Awards program is one of the oldest and most prestigious international design awards in the world, promoting excellence in design and innovation since 1958. It is recognised by the World Design Organization (WDO) as Australia’s peak international design endorsement program.

The Good Design Awards represent the diverse spectrum of design with 10 specific Design Disciplines, spanning 28 Categories.

In partnership with The Royal Society for the Blind, Business Models Inc is proud to have been nominated for a Good Design award in the ‘Design Strategy’ category in 2018, the 60th anniversary of the Good Design Awards.

The main objective of Design Strategy category is to recognise the role of design in driving business strategy. The category has specific evaluation criteria that evaluates how organisations use design as a strategic tool to be more competitive including considerations on the clarity of their purpose, true customer and market understanding, willingness for businesses to disrupt themselves, ability to work concurrently with current and future potential business models and their capacity to own the change process and employ leadership to make implementation.
